This privacy notice applies to the PyLogic: Python for Beginners mobile application, developed and published by 4FrndTech. We prioritize user privacy and transparency in compliance with global standards and Google Play Developer Program Policies.
2. Data Collection & Usage Disclosures
We respect your privacy. Beyond automated device diagnostics and ad identifiers required for core operational stability and advertising, no other personal data, user credentials, media files, or sensitive information are collected.
Specific Data Collected: Device or Other IDs (including Google
Advertising ID / Advertising Identifier and App Set ID).
Purposes of Collection:
- Analytics: Aggregated reporting on device performance, SDK interaction, and stability metrics to improve app functionality.
- Advertising: Serving relevant static/video ads via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and managing ad frequency caps.
- Fraud Prevention, Security & Compliance: Detecting invalid clicks, protecting against malicious traffic, and verifying network integrity.
3. Technical Permissions Disclosure
In adherence to Google Play guidelines, we explicitly declare the runtime and installation permissions requested by the application:
• android.permission.INTERNET
Required to establish network connectivity to fetch external learning resources (such as the web-based Python Playground), load modern web fonts, and serve advertisements via AdMob.
• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Enables the app to monitor network availability before initiating requests, avoiding redundant requests while offline.
• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID
Allows access to the device's Google Advertising ID on Android 13+ devices. This identifier is strictly used for advertising attribution, personalized ad delivery, and fraud prevention through the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
4. Data Storage & Local Retention
Local Preferences: Your interactive progress, lesson completions, and streak counters are stored strictly on your local device via Android Shared Preferences. This information is never transmitted to, or stored on, any external servers controlled by 4FrndTech.
Third-Party Integrations: Google Play Services and AdMob may handle cached identifier data securely in transit using standard Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption.
5. User Data Rights & Deletion
Because PyLogic does not use user accounts or cloud databases, your data footprint remains completely local to your device:
- Instant Reset: You can clear all saved progress anytime via
Settings > Apps > PyLogic > Storage > Clear Data. - Complete Erasure: Uninstalling the application immediately and permanently removes all locally cached preferences and data.
- Ad Identifier Reset: You may reset or opt-out of personalized ad tracking anytime
via your Android device settings under
Settings > Privacy > Ads.
6. Policy Revisions
We update this policy periodically to maintain full alignment with updating Google Play policies and statutory privacy rules. Any changes take immediate effect upon publication of the updated date above.
